This is the deeper dive into wild mixology: wild gins and vermouths. Yes - how to make them out of your foraged finds, and then craft them into tasty cocktails.
We'll start with a gin and vermouth focused foraging walk, identifying the kinds of plants you need to know. Then it's time to make a camp gin, and a gin based cocktail. We've been making camp gins for years, including a collaboration with Black Diamond Distillery. Then the same for vermouth.
Admittedly complex topics, these compound concoctions of wild botanicals truly unlock endless possibilities in the home and field bar.
Casual camp snacks and field lunch will be provided as we learn.
It helps if you've taken 101, but you'll do fine if you're keen and haven't had a chance.
